Steam cleaning carpet

What is steam cleaning?

Many people use the term steam cleaning but steam is not actually used to clean your carpet. It is a process known as hot water extraction (HWE). Which is the recommended way to clean by carpet manufacturers every 12 to 18 months in order not to void your warranty.

It is best not to exceed 200°F  at 212°F is when steam is produced. If you get the water too hot it could start delaminating your carpet if you are constantly cleaning at that temperature. Carpet backing delamination is when the primary and secondary backing layers of a carpet separate. Our carpet steam cleaning services clean between 150° to 180°.
